Tower

Jacob Strier
Jacob Strier, a News Design Editor on Tower has been at Masters since the middle of his sophomore year. He has been writing for the newspaper almost as long as he's been here, saying that it was Ms. Cowhey who inspired him to join.

In a recent publication, Strier wrote about the new livestream of Morning Meeting in the Experimental Theatre for first-year students. He interviewed them about their opinions on the issue. “My favorite thing about journalism is getting into the community,” Strier said.

In addition to his experience on Tower, Strier attended an intensive five-week journalism program at the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University, which only furthered his interest in writing. For Strier, journalism is more than just reporting. “What I love is telling stories. I have a platform to express my opinion and listen to others.”
