Okay, I know, this is rated 1/10 for deliciousness, but that isn’t the point. This isn’t to taste good; this is some good old-fashioned dining hall medicine. It may taste awful, but it really does help with a sore throat, especially if you have some before the illness has gotten really bad. It’s simple, and when all these horrendous coughs are spreading through the dorms at a rate equal to how terrible it is to actually have the cough, you’ll be glad you made some of this stuff-

Ingredients:

A little more than a cup of hot water

1-2 tablespoons of Honey

Two Large Slices of Lemon

3 Tablespoons of White Wine Vinegar

First, get yourself to the tea section and fill up one of those patented dining hall mugs a bit more than half way with hot water from the hot water spout (it’s the red one near where the coffee usually is). Then, grab the honey and put a generous amount in. I never actually measure, but I’m guessing it’s somewhere from 1-2 tablespoons. Then, grab two of the nice big lemon slices from the lemon slice container and squeeze all the juice in (be careful of the seeds, since you may end up swallowing them later if you aren’t vigilant). Next, leave the inner sanctum and go out to the salad bar. At the end of the salad bar is where the vinegar lives. Make sure you grab the White Wine Vinegar, or else the whole thing will be even more disgusting. Put a good amount in there, I know it’s hard because it smells really strongly and it seems like an awful idea but it’s necessary. Now grab a spoon and stir it up really well. DO NOT DRINK IT BEFORE STIRRING! It will basically just be straight vinegar, which will be incredibly terrible. Stir it well, and drink the whole thing. I know it’s hard, but it really is for your own good. Drink it as quickly as possible to get it over with. Congratulations! You’re one step closer to not being terribly ill!
