On Wednesday Feb. 11, the On Location class took a field trip to the Jacob Burns theatre in Pleasantville N.Y. On Location is a new class this year that gives students the opportunity to create and produce their own videos through exercising creative collaboration.

Senior Ben Zeitz-Moskin was the lead in the film they shot. “The movie is about a social experiment,” he said. The experiment was based on this New York Times article.

Senior Juliette Green was in the tech crew, which entailed setting up the lighting and assembling the set. “The assignment was to make a movie about loops, when something repeats. The title of this movie is called Loops of Love,” Greene said

Senior Charlie Woll was also in the tech crew. “Ben asked a bunch of different girls and guys the 36 questions that lead to love. The problem is, he falls in love with all of them,” Woll said.

“This is our second large project. i wrote and directed our first one, which was about a ghost in Estherwood who sabotages an open house. We’ve done a lot of scrambles, which are videos shot in a class period,” Greene said.

On Location has one more big project left for the year. To watch some of their videos, go to #onlocation on Vimeo.
