Ella Black, Sports Lead Editor
Ella Black’25, the lead sports editor, has been part of Tower staff for two years. As a journalist, Black has written in-depth pieces about the varsity sport teams and the impacts of social media on mental health. According to Black, she said her proudest story is about alumna Maddy Israel and her harrowing experience fleeing from a Hamas attack. In fact, a multi-talented individual, Black continues to excel beyond journalism by participating in three varsity sports—volleyball, lacrosse, and swimming—while also actively engaging as a member of the Gold Key Club. At college, Black said she wishes to pursue a minor in Journalism, believing that the skills of critical thinking and effective communication she has gained from Tower will be beneficial throughout her life.
