Joseph Goldstein, Lead Op-Ed Editor
Joseph Goldstein, a New York City native and Tower’s lead Op-Ed Editor, is a senior who has been involved with the paper since 2017, his first year at Masters. Prior to joining Tower, Goldstein was the Editor-in-Chief of his middle school’s newspaper, The Dragon’s Lair. Despite his previous high school not having a newspaper, Goldstein got to work as soon as he arrived at Masters, becoming a Staff Writer in his first year.
In the third issue of the 2018-19 school year, Goldstein worked alongside Drew Schott, an Op-Ed Design Editor for Tower, to cover the departure of Robert Cornigans. While the story was difficult to cover, Goldstein and Schott worked together to write an accurate and comprehensive piece they are both proud of.
Next Fall, Goldstein will attend Kenyon College, where he hopes to major in Political Science and continue his passion for journalism by joining the newspaper.
