Aviv Emery, Lead Features Editor
Senior Aviv Emery has been on 'Tower' since her junior year. Emery's journalistic pursuits began in her sophomore year when she took the Intro to Journalism course. From there, her experience in the class was all positive. Emery enjoys impacting people and is deeply satisfied with the liberty she has to write about any topic she feels passionate about. One of her proudest accomplishments is an article she wrote in February 2023 about the beauty and makeup industry. Emery also feels a strong sense of community on 'Tower' and is proud to have contributed to the success of an award-winning paper.
As one of this year's lead features editors, Emery enjoys editing stories and designing pages. Outside of school, Emery spends her time hanging out with friends, making jewelry, reading and writing. Emery gives her insight to an aspiring scholastic journalist as follows: Reach out to people even if you think they won't reply, and stay consistent with your work.
