Ellie Hise, Copy Editor & Media Advancement Manager
Junior Ellie Hise has been finding her voice in journalism as a copy editor and media advancement editor. Hise said she is interested in hard news and investigative work. As a copy editor, she oversees page layouts and ensures everything is in AP style. She said she enjoys Tower because it differs from her other classes due to the community aspect. As media advancement editor, Hise is tasked with accumulating contests and summer programs for students on Tower. She receives emails about potential contests and workshops for students as well. In addition to her work for Tower, she works at The Creek, a restaurant in Croton Falls.
