Lydia Ettinger, Lead Features Editor
While managing her schoolwork, volleyball practices, and extracurriculars, senior Lydia Ettinger loves engaging in the world of journalism. Ettinger is Tower’s co-lead features editor, and she has been writing for her school newspaper since fourth grade, before coming to Masters in ninth grade. While Ettinger loves to be social, she also has a passion for writing about important events. Ettinger’s journalistic style falls under a “longer” format. Ettinger’s favorite part about Tower is how it has evolved under its leadership over the past few years. It excites her to be more a part of Tower each year- even with lots of work, and delve into deeper stories like her “Asylum Seekers in NYC” piece with Alexa Murphy. She is looking forward to furthering her craft and possibly making a podcast on her last year on staff.
