Ellie Hise

Ellie Hise, Editor-In-Chief

Senior Ellie Hise, one of three  editors-in-chief of Tower, and has been attending The Masters School for eight years. Hise said her love of reading and writing first sparked her interest in journalism. Hise said, “I have always been a big reader. I found that creative nonfiction is super compelling. And it helps me feel engaged with the world. Journalism is one way that I get to feel a part of Masters.”  

Adamant about journalism, Hise holds pride in her work. She said, “Being able to see some  of my work in one issue when I know that I had tight deadlines, I am proud of the volume of that.” Hise said she is hoping to major in journalism in college, and put the skills she has learned into practice.
