Bright and early this morning, the senior class gathered on Greene Field in their pajamas and blankets to celebrate one of the highly anticipated traditions of the year – Senior Sunrise. Students, class dean Mariah Peña and senior advisors gathered at dawn with donuts and coffee provided by Peña and the class presidents, Caroline Miller and Noah Adler. Even Head of School Laura Danforth and Dean of Students Jeff Carnevale joined in on the event to spend time with the senior class.
Members of the Class of 2027 took photos with teammates and friends, and also played football and casual soccer.
Senior Sam Haas, a seven-year Masters studentsenior, praised the class presidents and the event’s success.
“They did a great job organizing, especially with the donuts, coffee and hot chocolate. It was great to witness the beautiful sunrise with my classmates,” he said.
In the spring, the Class of 2027 will come full circle, gathering for Senior Sunset and closing the final chapter of their high school experience.
