Jack Bilman can’t remember why or how he initially got signed up for Intro to Journalism, but he does remember why he chose to stay. He said, “Once I was in it, I really started to enjoy it. And working on my journalistic skills has definitely been a big part of my high school experience.”
He remembers the very first night of Tower layout well: with a page to design and a program he didn’t yet know how to use, he asked questions, got answers, tinkered around and ended up with a respectable page. Now, after designing pages for a year, he said that, for him, the design element of Tower offers the most artistically creative part of the Tower news cycle.
