Elaina Barreto, Editor-in-chief
Elaina Barreto first became involved in journalism through the Middle School newspaper: The Doc. As a high school student, she returned to The Doc to help mentor upcoming student journalists in the middle school. Through Tower, she learned that she most enjoys writing stories focused on connecting systemic and political issues to local events and community experiences.
