When Olivia Shim first saw the influence of Tower in her freshman year, she thought it was “professional and super cool”. This sparked her interest in joining Tower. Shim loves writing creative pieces, similar to her opinion article We must cherish the people who loved us the longest. However, the newspaper style new to Shim really intrigued and fascinated her. Moreover, Shim’s experience in journalism last year made her more perceptive and connected with the school community. Shim said, “The experience really changed me.” This year, Shim serves as news editor and illustration editor.
