This week on Masters Reacts students react to the recent Ferguson and Eric Garner cases. Over 80 students participated in a march on December 10, 2014 to protest the non-indictment of both police officers. Students chanted sayings “No Justice, No Peace” and “Hands up, Don’t Shoot” and others. The march was lead by the Young Activists Club leaders Kaan Solakoglu and Jonah Ury. Solakoglu said that after watching the Eric Garner video and hearing that there would be no indictment that it gave him “energy” to do something like this march.
