Breakfast Parfait

Cesca LaPasta

Difficulty: 1/10

Deliciousness and nutritiousness: 10/10 (okay, maybe not depending on what you do…)

Do you like stacking delicious things on top of each other? Do you like breakfast? About health? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then this is the correct post for you. Here, I give you my go to breakfast: the parfait. And the best part is, the options are nearly endless.

Ingredient Suggestions:

Yogurt (a base), I recommend the plain so you can add sweet things in

Granola

Any other cereal (rice krispies are very nice on top)

Honey

Fruit (strawberries are especially good if the dining hall has them)

Sunflower seeds (sometimes out on the salad bar)

Raisins (located with the sunflower seeds)

Chocolate chips (located in the hot food area most days when waffles/pancakes are served)

Peanut Butter (or another nut butter of your choosing)

Here’s the best part, it is insanely easy to assemble. Just grab a bowl (or a cup if you want to glory in all your layers) and layer all the things you want in there. It’s as easy as that. I personally like a layer of yogurt, something sweet, some kind of cereal, and then fruit on top. Now that you’re clued in on some of the great parfait materials around go forth and create your dream breakfast!!!
