In celebration of International Holocaust Remembrance Day on Jan. 27, Masters’ Jewish Culture Club invited Auschwitz survivor Trudy Album to speak. Album was the only member of her immediate family, which included her mother, father and two sisters, to survive the Holocaust. She was freed from the concentration camp when she was 17 years old and moved to the U.S. with her uncle and aunt, her only surviving relatives at the time. Album spoke about her story and left several words of advice to the audience. She said, “We are all our brother’s keeper. Take care of each other.”
